Students from the University's Experience Classroom visit the Jesús Hermida Communication Center
"Nearly a hundred students from the Senior Program of the University of Huelva's Experience Classroom visited the Jesús Hermida Communication Center, where they also had a training session on the center's contents, the role of media, journalism, and the advantages and challenges of using social networks.
The visit is part of the Cultural Week activities of the Experience Classroom, which also includes visits and tours of Villarrasa, Moguer, and Huelva. It is designed as an inter-semester activity that offers a large number of complementary activities to the subjects studied, including educational, cultural, gastronomic, and social activities, as well as outings and visits to various places of interest.
Both the Vice-Rector for University Extension and Institutional Relations, Joaquina Castillo, and the Director of the Experience Classroom, Rafael Andújar, highlighted the "involvement in this Cultural Week of students, teaching staff, and administrative and service personnel from the different locations in the province of the Experience Classroom. They also emphasized the involvement of institutions and companies in creating a program that proposes activities in both the morning and afternoon. The academic session and the visit to the Jesús Hermida Communication Center are part of its annual schedule.
This year, the Cultural Week began with a guided tour of the Jesús Hermida Communication Center, providing students with an in-depth view of the rich history of communication, media, and journalism. The training session aimed to enhance their understanding of these fields and the impact of social networks on contemporary communication."
