"Juan Pérez Mercader" students from Corrales visit the Communication Center

More than fifty students from IES "Juan Pérez Mercader" in Corrales (Aljaraque) have visited the Jesús Hermida Communication Center as part of the educational and informative activities that the Center carries out each school year with schools, mainly from the province of Huelva.

The students, from the last years of high school and baccalaureate, were able to gain a deeper understanding of the media and the functions of journalists, also discussing how to interact with social networks.

In the training sessions, the differences between communication and information were explained, as well as the various types of media and digital platforms.

During the visit to the exhibition space, the students showed a particular interest in the TV set and the fixed and mobile cameras used for program broadcasting, as well as the area dedicated to the moon landing and the role Jesús Hermida played in broadcasting it live for TVE viewers.
