Exhibition "I am Migrant."
On Wednesday, June 7, the exhibition "I am Migrant" will be inaugurated in the Multipurpose Room of the Jesus Hermida Communication Center in Huelva. The exhibition sheds light on the stories of young migrants, describing their reality and their perspective on life in Andalusia.
Part of the "Make a Difference: Towards a Positive View of Migration in Andalusia" project, the exhibition aims to bridge the perceived gap between the local and migrant populations. Through portraits and statements of young migrant individuals, the exhibition intends to closely and honestly portray their process of displacement, integration, and contributions to the society that has welcomed them. It will be presented in various spaces across the eight provinces of Andalusia.
This initiative is developed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Spain, with the support of the Andalusian Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AACID). It is complemented by a series of interviews, life stories, and training sessions for university students and teachers.
