Exhibition "The Elusive Beauty," featuring sculptures by Juan Antonio Barba Millán

On Wednesday, April 26, the exhibition of sculptures "The Elusive Beauty" by Juan Antonio Barba Millán is inaugurated in the Multipurpose Room of the Jesus Hermida Communication Center.

This itinerant exhibition features eight reliefs and eight round sculptures created between 2002 and 2022 in terracotta, showcasing a marked figurative style. The artist consistently avoids provocation or stridency, aiming to convey serenity and beauty.

With the premise that beauty may be a solace against the inexorable passage of time, the author seeks to reflect calmness, harmony, and sensuality with pieces inspired by a timeless style, capturing the beauty of movements.

Juan Antonio Barba holds a degree in Fine Arts from the "León Ortega" School in Huelva since 1998 and has exhibited his work in various venues in the provinces of Huelva and Seville.

The exhibition will be on display at the Jesus Hermida Communication Center until May 12.
