Colloquium talk about the journalistic profession and the Jesús Hermida Communication Center
On November 17, Rafael J. Terán, coordinator of the Jesús Hermida Communication Center, is invited to inaugurate the sessions of the Cultural Week at IES Diego de Guzmán y Quesada in Huelva, delivering a lecture on "The journalistic profession and the Jesús Hermida Communication Center (CCJH)."
Specifically aimed at BUP students, the talk focuses on discussing the reality of journalism and its importance as an essential profession to guarantee citizens' right to be informed and ensure freedom of expression as a constitutional right of Spaniards.
The students also learn about the contents of the CCJH and its potential to provide insight into information and communication, as well as the differences between traditional media and digital tools.
As a complement to this meeting in the auditorium of IES Diego de Guzmán y Quesada, students from various Baccalaureate courses visit the facilities for several days to take a guided tour that delves into the topics discussed in the lecture.
